We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team at ITT.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you’ll be an integral part of the team spearheading key manufacturing projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and timelines, with a focus on painting systems and heat treatment machinery.
• Oversees installation and any modification and improvement of of production machines and equipment
• Identification of plant requirements in collaboration with Production, Quality and R&D bodies
• Definition of the characteristics of the system, layout, implementation plan
- Supplier contact, supply definition, RdA issuance, supply management, economic negotiation in collaboration with Purchasing
• Verification and compliance with the impact on safety and the environment
• Internal construction site set-up, work coordination and supplier and external labor management
• Commissioning of the plant within the assigned times and achievement of project productivity
• Monitoring of assigned industrial plants
• Verification of production / quality performance
• Promotion of quality and efficiency improvement activities
• Promotion of plant cost reduction activities
• Participation in innovation and development of the competitiveness of the production unit
• Technical degree and good knowledge of the English language
• Almost 6+ yy of experience in a similar role
• Proficient use of IT tools such as Excel, SAP (or other ERP), PowerPoint
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
• The profile is completed by interpersonal skills, autonomy, flexibility, aptitude for teamwork, analytical skills, problem solving, priority management and willing to work in a challenging environment
• Leadership skills to interface with multiple internal functions and external parties (suppliers, contract manufacturers)
• Eagerness to learn, enthusiasm and curiosity
